Read More: Rob Gronkowski (TE - NEP), New England Patriots, New York Giants
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski practiced on Thursday, lending credence to the idea that he will play Sunday when the Pats take on the New York Giants in the Super Bowl. However, the final decision will come from not only him but the team's athletic training staff, via ESPN:
"It's my body and I know how I feel the best," Gronkowski said. "I just communicate with the trainers on how I feel, what they think, and we just put all our knowledge together so we can get the best possible situation."
"I will make the final call. I listen to the trainer's advice, but it's how I feel," he said. "I'm just trying to get better. The trainer has helped me to get to a place where I need to be."
Barring some kind of setback during practice, the Patriots expect Gronk to play on Sunday and it would be a surprise at this point if he didn't.
