Indianapolis spent a lot of time and effort putting together its plan to deal with snow and ice during the Super Bowl. It looks like those plans won't be needed after all.
According to Wunderground.com, during the day of Feb. 2 the weather is supposed to be in the mid 40s with a 20 percent chance of rain showers until midday. From there it will continue to be partly cloudy with lows around 30 and highs in the lower 40s. While is possible, snow no longer is expected in the forecast.
Mostly sunny skies will carry the city through Friday, but clouds and showers will move in during the weekend. The city should avoid the same kind of weather troubles that Dallas suffered last year, however.
