Read More: Rob Gronkowski (TE - NEP), New England Patriots, New York Giants
There's a good chance that you figured this out when he still appeared to be a bipedal human being at the end of the AFC Championship Game, but it's now more or less confirmed that Rob Gronkowski will play in the Super Bowl. He's been expected to play all week long, but Pro Football Talk confirmed through a source that the New England Patriots tight end would suit up against the New York Giants.
Of course, Gronkowski won't be 100 percent and will likely still be feeling the effects of his badly sprained ankle. The Giants probably won't decide exactly how to play him until they see how he moves, and the same can probably be said for the Patriots and how often they plan on utilizing him. In any event, expect to see a lot of Aaron Hernandez.
