Read More: Rob Gronkowski (TE - NEP), New England Patriots, New York Giants
The New England Patriots have released their inactives and as expected Rob Gronkowski's name isn't on the list which means he'll play. His high ankle sprain has been one of the big story lines leading up to the game yet no one really has any idea exactly how he'll do with his injury.
CSNNE's Michael Giardi reported that Gronkowski arrived to Lucas Oil Stadium in the same special black shoe he's been wearing.
We've known for the last two weeks that he'll play in the Super Bowl but at less than 100 percent. The Giants will likely test him out early to see what kind of condition he's in. And the Pats have also had two weeks to prepare with a less-than-100-percent Gronkowski so it'll be interesting to see how they deal with him offensively.
The Patriots have a lot of weapons but Gronkowski might be the most important one -- if he's healthy enough to be effective. This is one of the biggest keys to the game (and people have talked about it just a little bit).
