Read More: Peyton Manning (QB - DEN), Indianapolis Colts
As the Colts begin to rebuild -- from the front office down to the 53-man roster -- the biggest question surrounding this team remains the status of Peyton Manning, who missed the entire 2011 season following multiple neck surgeries.
In a radio interview with Yahoo Sports earlier this week, Archie Manning was asked about the status of his son, and he offered anything but a ringing endorsement. The transcript is below, but you can also listen to it here, starting around the 4:50 mark:
Question: Archie, just between you and me, how's Peyton doing with the neck, is he going to play next year?
Archie Manning: I don't know. You know, I think he's working real hard, Peyton wants to play, it's just, he has a good attitude about it, and he's just trying to get his health back, and getting a little better, and we'll just have to see what happens.
