Colten Moore flew what amounted to about 120 feet. He started his flight on a snowmobile, which is somewhat safe and insane at the same time, but lost his sled in mid-flight. You know where this is going.
Moore was actually upside down -- perpendicular to the ground -- as he missed the grab on his sled, leading to a scary few moments. His recovery, however, was absolutely insane. Somehow, Moore was able to somewhat right himself in mid-air, avoiding a head-first dive into the hard-packed snow below him.
As bad as it looks, Moore actually walked away from this, thanks to a quick bit of body control.
"I ended up going a little too big, and I missed my grab ... and I tried flying," said Moore after the run. That's one way to put it.
Jumping snowmobiles 100-feet is nuts, y'all. Now consider that these guys are backflipping these snowmobiles, as well. Upside-down snowmobiles, 100-foot jumps and the potential that the giant machine may slip away.
Tune-in to the X Games if only for the insanity factor going on.
