The Ski Big Air event in the 2012 X-Games has come to a conclusion, with American Bobby Brown picking up gold with a score of 88.0. Brown hit two runs with scores of 44.0 as he put himself on top and stayed on top to take the gold medal. Here's video of one of Brown's 44.0 runs, where he catches air and hits a switch double cork 1260. Brown picked up a silver medal in the 2011 X-Games while dealing with a hip injury, but took home the gold this time.
Picking up silver in the competition was Swiss skier Kai Mahler who finished with an 84.0 total, with his best runs being a 43.00 and a 41.00. Rounding out the top three was two-time previous medal winner Jossi Wells of New Zeland. Wells narrowly finished behind Mahler with an 83.0 overall, as Wells best runs were a 44.00 and a 39.00.
