Drew Brees has gaudy numbers in ghastly loss, fantasy value at least back on track

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees put up huge numbers in Week 4. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees put up huge numbers on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Brees was looking like his old self, throwing for nearly 500 yards, with three touchdowns and no interceptions. The downfall of Brees' spectacular performance is that it did not outweigh the hemorrhaging Saints defense.

Fantasy Analysis: Brees was a first-rounder in virtually every fantasy league this year. Despite the loss of head coach Sean Payton, Brees was worth the gamble of a high first round selection. He remains a must-start in all fantasy leagues, regardless of the winless record the team currently boasts. This team lives and dies by the successes and failures of Drew Brees, and that's not going to change any time soon.
