2012 NCAA Hockey schedule: Big 10 games highlight busy Saturday

Previewing what should be a very busy night for college hockey.

It may still be early in the college hockey season, but there is a full slate of games on Saturday night. With many Big 10 teams set to play, we could be in for one of the better nights of the year. And with no NHL season to look forward to anytime soon, what better than a little collegiate action?

Let's take a look at the complete schedule for Saturday, Oct. 13. All start times are Eastern Standard Time.

Boston College at Northeastern 7 p.m. ET

St. Cloud St. at New Hampshire 7 p.m. ET

American Intl at Penn State 7 p.m. ET

Mercyhurst at Niagara 7 p.m. ET

Union NY at Bowling Green 7:05 p.m. ET

Colgate at Miami (OH) 7:05 p.m. ET

Ferris St. at RPI 7:05 p.m. ET

St. Lawrence at Western Michigan 7:05 p.m. ET

Lake Superior at Michigan Tech 7:07 p.m. ET

Northern Michigan at Wisconsin 8 p.m. ET

Minnesota St. at Alabama Huntsville 8 p.m. ET

Ohio St. at Minnesota Duluth 8 p.m. ET

Canisius at Alaska 8:07 p.m. ET

Michigan St. at Minnesota 9 p.m. ET

Clarkson at Colorado College 9:07 p.m. ET

Also, the finals of the Ice Breaker Tournament, in Kansas City, Missouri, will take place at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. It will feature the winners of games between Notre Dame and Maine, as well Army and Nebraska-Omaha.
