Aaron Rodgers flashed his old form with six touchdown passes Sunday night.
The Houston Texans are no longer undefeated and the reigning NFL MVP is a major reason why. Aaron Rodgers completed 24 of 37 passes for 338 yards and a career high six touchdowns as the Green Bay Packers beat the Texans in Houston 42-24.
Jordy Nelson was the recipient of three of those TD passes. He caught nine passes for 121 yards overall while James Jones caught two more of them. The clinching TD came on the first play of the fourth quarter, however. Tom Crabtree caught a 48 score on the first play of the fourth quarter to make it 35-17. After a Sam Shields interception Rodgers threw his final TD pass, an 18-yarder to James Jones.
Arian Foster rushed for two touchdowns for Houston, but the Texans threw thee interceptions on the evening. Foster was also limited to only 29 yards on 17 carries.
Matt Schaub threw for 232 yards, but was intercepted twice.
