Colts lead the Browns thanks to Luck's strong half passing and running the football
Fantasy football owners who play matchups must have been salivating when they saw Andrew Luck facing off against the Browns. The Cleveland defense has given up an average of 28.6 points per game through the first six weeks of the season, and the secondary has been banged up and inefficient all year.
Luck, a highly-accurate passer, is adept at reading the defense despite being a rookie, and he has been going through his progressions and making good reads. Plus, he's giving Colts fans and fantasy players a lot to smile about with two rushing touchdowns in the first half. The Indy signal caller was 10-18 for 137 yards in the first half, along with eight rushing yards on just three drives.
Since the game has been shortened due to the long scoring drives, the Browns are still in it down 14-6, meaning Indianapolis will have to continue to run its scoring offense, which could lead to more big numbers for Luck.
