Alabama jumped out early against the Bulldogs, scoring on their first drive of the game. The nine-play, 59-yard drive was capped off by an 11-yard run from Crimson Tide running back T.J. Yeldon. The freshman finished with 84 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.

Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron added two more scores, and a 34-yard field goal off the foot of kicker Jeremy Shelley put the Crimson Tide up 24-0 at half.

After a scoreless third quarter, Alabama found the end zone twice more in the fourth. The Crimson Tide defense totaled three turnovers and held the Bulldogs to 256 yards of total offense.
