Cincinnati scored early and often as they easily beat Miami (OH) on Saturday.
Cincinnati dominated Miami (OH) on Saturday, defeating the RedHawks 52-14 to improve to 4-0. The loss drops Miami to 3-3 on the season.
Miami opened the scoring when Zac Dysert found Dawan Scott from 19 yards out, but that would be the high point of the game for them. They'd then miss the extra point to take a 6-0 lead early in the game.
Cincinnati scored the game's next 24 points, with touchdowns from Camerron Cheatham, Danny Milligan and George Winn, followed by a 24-yard field goal from Tony Milano. Miami cut the deficit to 24-14 at halftime, as Nick Harwell caught Dysert's second touchdown pass. Miami converted the two-point conversion to make up for the earlier missed extra point.
The third quarter saw Travis Kelce, Winn and Munchie Legaux add touchdowns for Cincinnati, putting them ahead 45-14 after the 3rd quarter. Tion Green would punch one in from two yards out in the 4th quarter to close out the scoring for the game.
Box Score Hero: George Winn ran for 130 yards on 16 carries and added a pair of touchdowns on the ground.
Rankings Ramifications: Cincinnati was on the cusp of the Top 25 before the game, so the convincing win will likely see them ranked next week.
But Did They Cover? The Bearcats were 21-point favorites and they easily covered the spread. The over/under was set at 58 points, so those who took the over will be happy.
