Eric Bledose is a point guard. Point guards are the kinds of people that back off and don't bother trying to block shots of players like Dwyane Wade. Point guards are not the kind of people that do that.
It's one thing if Bledsoe had stripped the ball as Wade was going up, but that's not what happened. Instead, Wade jumped to dunk it, and Bledsoe leaped up and met him to block the shot at Wade's highest point. I know Wade is playing through a foot injury, but still, he's Dwyane Wade.
Long live the cult of Bledsoe.
