The Los Angeles Clippers used a big second quarter to handily defeat the Bulls.
The Los Angeles Clippers handily defeated the Chicago Bulls 101-80 Saturday night.
The Clippers used a big second quarter, scoring 35 points during the period, to open up their lead against the Bulls. Guard Jamal Crawford scored 17 points in the second, and Los Angeles wouldn’t look back.
Blake Griffin led the way for the Clippers, scoring 26 points while pulling down 10 rebounds. Crawford finished with 22 points, while small forward Matt Barnes (13) and point guard Eric Bledsoe (10) were the other Clippers to reach double figures.
Power forward Carlos Boozer was the Bulls’ points leader, scoring 22 on 10-19 shooting from the field. He also added 12 rebounds, while small forward Luol Deng and shooting guard Richard Hamilton each scored 14 points.
The Clippers next contest comes Monday night in San Antonio against the Spurs, while the Bulls are heading to Portland to take on the Trailblazers Sunday night.
