Wallace has missed the last six games due to a sprained left ankle, which he suffered against the Toronto Raptors in the Nets season-opening game on Nov. 3. The Nets went 4-2 during the six-game stretch without Wallace. In the opening game, the 11-year veteran forward scored 10 points and had six rebounds, four assists and two steals in 30 minutes of action.
Wallace was traded to the Nets from the Portland Trail Blazers in March 2012 and re-signed with the Nets franchise in July. Wallace averaged 15.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game in 35.8 minutes per game with the Nets last season. All of Wallace's averages in points, rebounds and assists in his 16 games with the Nets during the 2011-12 season were above his career averages in those categories.
