AFC East injury report, Week 11: Rob Gronkowski out with broken arm

David Butler II-US PRESSWIRE

The Patriots suffered a huge loss with star tight end Rob Gronkowski breaking his arm late in Sunday's game.

The New England Patriots might be 7-3 and leading the AFC East, but they have some serious concerns. On the last extra point of a 59-24 blowout, Rob Gronkowski sustained a broken forearm that required surgery to repair. At this point, it's unknown how long he'll be out.

The Patriots are now really thin at tight end with Aaron Hernandez already out with an ankle problem that has forced him to miss six games. Defensive end Chandler Jones also left the game with an apparent ankle injury in the first quarter.

Elsewhere, the New York Jets won over the St, Louis Rams and are left to deal with a few injuries. Cornerback Aaron Berry left the contest with a quad issue, while nose tackle Kenrick Ellis couldn't play in the second half after aggravating his knee injury.

In the game between the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills, both teams walked away without any significant injuries.
