LeBron James nearly notched a triple-double as the Miami Heat pulled out a 113-106 overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday in Miami.
The Miami Heat escaped AmericanAirlines Arena with a 113-106 overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, dominating the extra session 15-8 to move to 9-3 on the season.
LeBron James sent the game to overtime on a layup with 26 seconds left, capping off a wild fourth quarter that featured numerous runs and lead changes. Milwaukee looked to be in control with just under five minute left, leading 91-84. Miami then went on a quick 10-0 run before a frantic final couple of minutes in regulation.
Miami jumped out to a 29-15 lead after the first quarter, but almost gave it all back in the second quarter. The Heat led by just two at halftime and trailed by two heading into the fourth quarter.
James nearly notched a triple-double, scoring 28 points, pulling down 10 rebounds and dishing out eight assists. Dwyane Wade returned from a foot injury to score 28 points as well, while Chris Bosh added 24 points and 18 rebounds.
Milwaukee got a huge performance from rookie John Henson, as the big man scored 17 points and pulled down 18 rebounds. Brandon Jennings led the Bucks with 19 points. The Bucks fell to 6-4 with the loss.
