VIDEO: Notre Dame's celebration was pretty fantastic

Matt Cashore-US PRESSWIRE

Watch as Notre Dame celebrates an undefeated regular season after beating USC on Friday night.

Notre Dame is back! No, but for real this time. After all the jokes about the Irish returning to prominence and living up to the hype only to fall short in spectacular fashion, Notre Dame is legitimately back and will play for the BCS National Championship. With a win over USC on Saturday night, the Irish locked up their spot in the title game, capping a pretty incredible regular season.

And thanks to the magic of video, we can see how it all went down on Saturday night -- from Brian Kelly's pregame speech to the raucous celebration in the locker room after the game. Enjoy:

Probably the best part, for me, was the player focusing on his phone as everyone else celebrated around him -- including the "I NEED TICKETS" guy. Why was Kapron Lewis-Moore typing away at his phone? Simple: He was trying to find Rick Reilly on Twitter to send a good-natured jab in the direction of the ESPN columnist.

College football is pretty great, you guys. And the celebrations after big wins are always fun to watch.
