One play, two injuries in the San Francisco - New Orleans game.
The San Francisco 49ers are in a shoot-out versus the New Orleans Saints, but it looks like the Niners will have to do without wide receiver Kyle Williams and running back Kendall Hunter.
The pair were both injured on a running play in the 4th quarter, with Williams injuring his knee, and Hunter with an ankle, and both got a ride to the locker room together for evaluation.
Colin Kaepernick has done very well in his first start ahead of a heathly Alex Smith, throwing for for 231 yards and a touchdown, and helping the Niners keep pace with Drew Brees and the always-dangerous Saints offense. Brees has thrown three touchdowns, but had two interceptions returned for touchdowns.
Halfway through the 4th quarter, San Francisco is up 31-21 over New Orleans, but Brees can strike in a hurry.
Stay tuned for more updates from this game as we get them...
