The Atlanta Falcons will try to keep their undefeated season alive when they host the Dallas Cowboys Sunday night.

The 7-0 Atlanta Falcons will attempt to keep their undefeated season intact when they host the 3-4 Dallas Cowboys Sunday night at the Georgia Dome.

The Falcons enter the game having won their first seven games for the first time in franchise history. With such a gaudy record, it's no surprise that Atlanta is playing well on both sides of the ball. The Falcons' offense ranks fifth in the NFL, scoring 28.7 points per game, and the defense is giving up 18.6 points per contest, which ranks seventh. Matt Ryan's quarterback rating of 103.0 ranks third in the league.

The Cowboys have lost three of their last four games after starting the season 2-1. During their recent struggles, Dallas has suffered a blowout loss at the hands of the Chicago Bears and heartbreakers against the Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants. The Ravens won, 31-29, and the Giants came out on top, 29-24. The Cowboy defense ranks fourth in the NFL, allowing 292.4 yards per game, but it gives up 23.1 points per game, which ranks 18th.
