Doug Martin had a performance for the ages in Week 9 with 251 yards and four TDs.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Doug Martin was already having a great rookie year, and he just turned it up to a new level in Week 9. Against the Oakland Raiders, Martin had 25 carries for 251 yards and an incredible four TDs as the Bucs handled the Raiders 42-32. He now owns the franchise record for most rushing yards in a single game.
The bulk of Martin's yards came on touchdown runs of 45, 67 and 71 yards, combining good vision, breakaway speed and power.
Fantasy Impact: Martin will easily be the top scorer in all fantasy leagues this week, scoring well over 50 points in most formats. Robert Griffin III may have been the front-runner for Offensive ROY, but Martin has now stiff-armed his way into the conversation.
Fantasy owners can stop doubting Martin. He's an easy RB1 play going forward. The Bucs will take on the Chargers in Week 10.
