The Arizona Cardinals continued their struggles with a loss to the Green Bay Packers and the reaction is as expected.
Aaron Rodgers didn't exactly light it up through the air for the Green Bay Packers in their win over the Arizona Cardinals, but his touchdown strikes were killer.
Revenge of the Birds believes the Cardinals fell apart after a promising start, culminating with Rodgers' 72-yard touchdown pass to Tom Crabtree at the end of the third quarter.
The Arizona offense had its moments and John Skelton topped 300 passing yards, but the struggles that have plagued the Cardinals all season were on display at times again on Sunday. Along with managing only 54 rushing yards, Arizona lost the turnover battle with Skelton's interception and Patrick Peterson's fumble.
While the loss marks the fifth-straight for the Cardinals, there is some reason for optimism going forward:
Unless a cure is found for our Offensive woes... The Defense is only going to get worse. Luckily we have Beanie Wells eligible to practice this week, and Kolb should... SHOULD... be allowed to practice following the game at Atlanta.
Arizona will have a bye in Week 10 to get healthy and improve before traveling to face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11.
