Nick Saban cardboard cutout stolen, thieves sought

Marvin Gentry-US PRESSWIRE

The Tuscaloosa Police Department is trying to bring two foul perpetrators to justice. These gas station cardboard cutout bandits must be tracked down.

Chris Pow at AL.com reports that a horrible act of theft took place on Wednesday in Tuscaloosa. A "life-size" cardboard cutout of Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban was burgled from a BP Station. Here are the chilling details of the crime.

Officers responding to a theft call at 1 a.m. at the gas station at 1405 University Boulevard were told that one suspect took the cutout when the cashier wasn't looking and that another suspect opened the door for him so they could leave, said Tuscaloosa police spokesman Sgt. Brent Blankley.

Head on over to the link to see pictures of the suspects. If you have any information that can bring these foul miscreants to justice, you can get in touch with Tuscaloosa County Crime Stoppers at (205) 752-STOP (7876), or text "Tusc" and a tip to 274637 (CRIMES).

Let's do the right thing and bring the tiny, life-size cutout home. To the BP station. Roll Tide.
