Nick Johnson and the No. 9 Arizona Wildcats could not be stopped on Saturday against Texas Tech, defeating the Red Raiders at United Spirit Arena by the score of 85-57 in an offensive clinic for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats shot 54.5% from the floor, 34.8% from deep and made 81% of their free throws as five different players scored in double digits, including sophomore guard Nick Johnson, whose efficient 21 points was a game high.
The one starter who did not score in double digits for Arizona was Kaleb Tarczewski, but his 13 rebounds was nothing to sneeze at.
It was about the complete opposite for Texas Tech, who had just one player score more than seven points. Collectively, the Red Raiders shot just 35% from the floor and struggled at the free throw line, too.
The Wildcats remain one of the few undefeated teams on the season and have two more games against unranked teams before hosting No. 7 Florida on Dec. 15.
