His final four free-throws that iced the game came on a technical foul and a shooting-foul by Cal's Richard Solomon. Center Gregory Echenique had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds in addition to his five blocked shots. Creighton improves its record to 10-1 overall.
Cal took 78 shots in the game and only made 27, with Allen Crabbe's 6-for-27 being the worst of the bunch. Justin Cobbs' 18 points and seven assists lead the Bears. Off the bench, Tyrone Wallace contributed eight points on 3-of-10 shooting and 10 rebounds. Cal managed to out-rebound Creighton 47-36.
