Seahawks are home underdogs against the rival 49ers.
All eyes will be on the Pacific Northwest on Sunday night, when the San Francisco 49ers travel to face the Seattle Seahawks in a nationally televised primetime matchup.
The host Seahawks are 1-point underdogs, after initially opening as a pick'em, and the teams are about as evenly-matched as the spread would indicate.
Offensively, 49ers average 25.5 points a game, while the Seahawks average 25.0 points per game.
Defensively, both teams share an average of 15.6 points per game allowed. In terms of yardage allowed, the Seahawks allow 197.64 passing yards a game, while the 49ers are giving up 201.86 yards through the air. On the ground, the 49ers have the advantage, allowing 91.14, while the Seahawks allow 106.29 yards a game.
The over/under opened at 40, and has since dropped a point to 39. The total has gone over in 14 of Seattle's last 20 home games.
The 49ers currently hold a four-game win streak over the Seahawks, going 2-2 against the spread in those contests.
If there is an edge in this game, it might be the 49ers' dominance over NFC West foes. In its last 10 games in the division, San Francisco is 7-2-1, while the Seahawks are just 4-6.
