The Titans gave up 55 points and management is not happy about it.
Almost nothing went right on Sunday for the Tennessee Titans. Tennessee managed just 180 yards of offense and fell behind 55-0 before losing 55-7 in Green Bay. A two-yard touchdown catch by Kenny Britt with less than two minutes to go is the only thing that prevented a shutout. It was also the second time this season that Tennessee gave up more than 50 points.
As Music City miracles states, ownership is getting frustrated with results like this:
Terry McCormick just tweeted a quote from Bud Adams that says, "We can't keep losing games like this, and I mean it." He also said that no decisions will be made until he meets with everyone in Nashville after the finale next week.
Jake Locker threw for only 140 yards and was intercepted twice on the day. Aaron Rodgers threw for three touchdowns and ran for one more as Ryan Grant added a pair of touchdowns on the ground for the Packers. Grant's 80 yards rushing was more than Tennessee had as a team in 22 attempts.
The Titans will now close out the season at home against Jacksonville, while the Jaguars have one of their two wins this season against the Titans.
