This one is for all the Hot-N-Readys.
Western Kentucky will head into the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl on December 26th without its head coach, as Willie Taggart has moved on to South Florida, but the Hilltoppers will surely get all they can handle the day after Christmas against a hot Central Michigan team.
The Chippewas, one of the resurgent programs in the always-entertaining Mid-American Conference, finished the season on a three-game win streak to make it to Detroit for the second time in five years - and their first bowl game in three years after back-to-back three-win seasons.
The Hilltoppers, which were snubbed for a bowl last season, are looking to capture their first bowl win after moving up to the FBS in 2007, and looking to impress new head coach Bobby Petrino, who will take over the team after the bowl game.
Last year's game turned out to be one of the more exciting finishes of the non-BCS bowl slate, with Purdue recovering two onside kicks and late fumble to pull off the 37-32 win.
