A look at the gambling odds for the undercard of Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez on HBO pay-per-view.
While the fourth fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez will serve as the evening's main event, there are three other fights scheduled for the HBO pay-per-view undercard. Unfortunately, Top Rank has slid back into their old ways, scheduling two mismatches and only one undercard fight that has anything resembling close odds.
Here's how the odds break down:
- Mercito Gesta (-110) vs. Miguel Vazquez (-120) - Over 9.5 rounds (-530), Under 9.5 rounds (+350)
- Patrick Hyland (+800) vs. Javier Fortuna (-1250) - Over 7.5 rounds (+185), Under 7.5 rounds (-245)
- Michael Farenas (+1500) vs. Yuriorkis Gamboa (-3750) - Over 5.5 rounds (-140), Under 5.5 rounds (+110)

The Gamboa fight doesn't have a lot of value in a bet on Yuriorkis and there is a risk that Farenas has the power to knock him out should Gamboa be as chinny as some think.
Hyland could probably be a bigger underdog honestly, but Fortuna should run away with this one. The most value here might be on the fight going to a decision as I think Hyland can stick it out to the final bell.
