Josh Brent, starting nose tackle for the Dallas Cowboys, has been charged with intoxication manslaughter after an incident on Saturday.
Reports coming out of Dallas indicate that Cowboys nose tackle Brent Price is being held at an Irving, Texas jail on charges of intoxication manslaughter. The Irvine police department confirmed the charges on Saturday:

Details about the incident are scarce, but it's already affected the Dallas Cowboys' travel plans, at least briefly. All non-team personnel was asked to exit the team plane before it took off for Cincinnati on Saturday afternoon:

News also emerged on Saturday that Brent's former Illinois teammate and current Cowboys teammate Jerry Brown has passed away.
Brent, a 24-year-old nose tackle, has been a member of the Cowboys since 2010, when they selected him in the seventh round of the supplemental draft. He's made 39 appearances for the Cowboys, including five starts in 2012, and has 1.5 sacks this season.
