Round-by-round results from Manny Pacquiao against Juan Manuel Marquez. This post covers the action from round 4.
With Juan Manuel Marquez having knocked Manny Pacquiao down in the third round of their HBO pay-per-view bout, Pacquiao had to come out in the fourth round and make a statement that he was good to keep the fight going.
Marquez unleashed a solid straight right hand early and Pacquaio came back with a jab and a straight of his own. Pacquiao's legs looked steady in the round but Marquez was fighting with more confidence, slipping some Pacquiao punches and digging to the body.
Marquez also began to work his jab with a little more success. Pacquiao then found a good combination later in the round with a couple good shots getting in.
This was a much better Pacquiao round but Marquez tagged him with some big right hands as the round came to a close.
Round: 10-9 Pacquiao
Fight: 38-37 Pacquaio
