The Leafs continue to struggle as they have lost nine of 10.

Just when things could not get any worse for the Toronto Maple Leafs, they did.

The Leafs continued to fall as they lost their ninth game in their last 10 in a 5-3 loss to the Florida Panthers.

James Reimer allowed two goals on the Panthers' first two shots just 2:21 into the game (the first Florida goal came after 13 seconds), which were the fastest two goals to start a game on the road in Panthers franchise history. Meanwhile, the Leafs trailed 2-0 for the fifth consecutive game.

A pivotal four-game homestand at Air Canada Centre ended 0-3-1 as Toronto has earned just three points it its last 10 games. With the Washington Capitals coming from behind to defeat the New York Islanders 3-2, the Leafs fall four points behind the Caps for eighth place.

I guess you could say that Toronto is trying to redefine the term "Leaf Blower."
