Odds On Peyton Manning's Next Home Includes Cardinals, Redskins And Dolphins

Who will sign Peyton Manning if/when he's released by the Indianapolis Colts? That figures to be the most oft-asked question over the next few weeks as we await the start of free agency. The Colts are expected by many to release Manning at some point before his $28 million roster bonus is due on March 8.

So who signs him?

Vegas oddsmakers at Bovada have the Arizona Cardinals as the early leader in the clubhouse followed by the Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets and then the Colts.

  • Arizona Cardinals: 2/1
  • Washington Redskins: 5/2
  • Miami Dolphins: 3/1
  • New York Jets: 7/2
  • Indianapolis Colts: 7/1

Manning isn't even completely healthy yet so this is still in the guesswork stage. Different teams may view his health in different ways so that's why it's hard to put a value on him, which makes it nearly impossible to predict where he'll land next.

I'm surprised the Seahawks aren't even listed.

Not that I expect them to sign Manning, but I’d figure them to at least be in the conversation.
