Post tidal wave mock draft

This is my first mock so im giving it a shot after the tidal wave of signings that occur the first couple days of FA

No trades and I might be off with some teams draft strategy

Tried to offer a little explanation to some picks that aren’t of the norm

Feedback is always welcomed

4.CLE-JUSTIN BLACKMON-don’t think as many people are sold on tannehill as it seems so you go with a sure thing

5.TB- RILEY REIFF-this was a really hard pick. With TB recent signings and draft history its hard to predict what they would do at this point. Any buc fans let me know what you think. I see Richardson as a possibility but to high I see Claiborne as a high possibility but they signed Wright so idk how that changes their view of the CB position

6.Stl-MICHAEL FLOYD-they desperately need a target for Bradford to throw to and with Finnegan corner is no longer a desperate need.

7.JAX-MORRIS CLAIBORNE-jags luck into Claiborne somehow

8.MIA-RYAN TANNEHILL-miami might end up with nobody again at qb so they take tannehill to compete with matt moore

9.CAR-DONTARI POE-this is another really tough pick not sure what the panthers new regime would like with this pick. Could be Stephen hill(maybe), Kirkpatrick? Idk so I went with Mr. Poe

10.BUF- QUINTON COPLES-best Dline in the nfl now

13.ARI-NICK PERRY-play a 3-4 so name their pass rushing lbs……..ill wait. Other than Acho I cant think of anybody. They need someone to get to the passer. Could also see WR here

14.DAL-TRENT RICHARDSON-this is probably the dumbest pick in this mock from a fans perspective but jerry jones likes flash and an offense with Romo, witten, Austin, Bryant, Murray, Jones, Richardson is pretty darn good. Could go secondary also but Richardson is to good to pass up

17.CIN-DRE KIRKPATRICK-don’t know what cincys doing this offseason but they need a CB and RB with Richardson off the board they land Kirkpatrick who slides do to his marijuana related arrest

18.SD-JANORIS JENKINS-another tough one. Might not be the biggest need but hes a good player and their secondary might start becoming a problem

19.CHI-WHITNEY MERCILUS-wanted mincey to go along with peppers so why not add someone in the draft?

20.Ten-VINNY CURRY-tennessee has a solid line, solid defense, solid run game, solid receivers idk who they take. They like Dlineman but Stephen hill is on the board so idk. Tennessee fans let me know.

22. Cle-BRANDON WHEEDON-they whiffed on RG3 this is a less risky move then tannehill and he could potentially be an Andy Dalton, Matt Hassellback type qb. At worst he comes in and competes heavily with colt mccoy

23. Det-JOSH ROBINSON- detroit still needs CB help. Josh robinson is a riser due to his 4.29 40 yard dash

26. Hou-STEPHEN HILL-good blocker great speed, could be a nightmare with Andre Johnson across from him.

28.GB-MICHAEL BROCKERS-needs help in the front 7 and back 4 lol but brockers is the best prospect available(according to most, idk why though) so they take him to play one of the DE positions and to develop

29.BAL-ANDRE BRANCH-just lost jarret Johnson so they try to put another body in the mix for his replacement

30.SF-STEPHEN GILMORE-harbough drafts the player he wants regardless if it’s a reach. It worked out for him last year with aldon smith. So itll be hard to mock correctly here. With the signing of moss I assume they view the WR problem fixed so they go with some secondary help to bolster their dime package they use on occasion

31.NE-JAYRON HOSLEY-did I mention NE needs secondary help? They do they address WO next round

32.NYG-DEVON STILL-NY likes its Dline they add another player to an already dominate unit
