PHOTO: 'Free Sean Payton' Shirts The Hot Item In New Orleans

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton issued an official statement on Saturday, apologizing and taking responsibility for the bounty scandal that landed the coach a one-year suspension from the NFL. But his statement will be of no solace to the many Saints fans in the Gulf area, who are apparently snatching up "Free Sean Payton" t-shirts which are being sold across the Bayou.

As you would expect, Saints fans have not reacted well to the punishment handed down by the despotic Roger Goodell. Apparently, there are "Brees For Coach" shirts being sold in NOLA as well. In addition to the t-shirts, Saints fans have also done what everyone does when they feel wronged - start an online petition. The shirts appear to be doing much better than the petition.
