Grading the MTD Mock Parts 2 and 3

I have more fun grading drafts than I do making mock drafts…even though both are futile endeavors. I like the unexpected possibilities and matches I had not thought about before, which is why I’m taking the time to grade every team in the Mockingthedraft live draft that occurred this past weekend. I’m breaking it into four separate posts because otherwise it would approach nearly 10,000 words. Part 1 was here, and that was the NFC from the Rams picks through Dallas picks.

I’m not bias to any teams. I took a look at our big board (the board is mostly my own big board, but with input from my partner at NFLmocks) to create values for each pick.

Here is part 2 which is the rest of the NFC

And Part three which is the first half of the AFC

I'll list the overall grades here, but I broke down and gave a grade to each pick at the links.

Colts A

Browns B

Jaguars B-

Dolphins C+

Eagles B+

Jets B+/A-

Raiders-hopefully one day you guys will get to make picks

Chargers A-

Lions C+/B-

Saints B

Packers B+

49ers C

What was surprising to me is how much I liked the San Diego Chargers draft. I don't think I've liked a Chargers real draft in years!
