The 2012 Arkansas Derby is one of few high-profile Kentucky Derby prep races left on the 2012 horse racing slate, and one of the highest-profile trainers in the thoroughbred world will be running his two best three-year olds in it.
Those two Bob Baffert horses, Bodemeister and Secret Circle, are also the Arkansas Derby's two favorites. Bodemeister, starting on the outside edge at No. 11, is the morning line favorite at 9-5, while Secret Circle is in the No. 5 slot and is at 5-2. The next lowest odds in the field belong to Isn't He Clever, at 6-1.
Bodemeister will be looking to recover from a second-place finish in the 2012 San Felipe Stakes in his last outing.
