A.J. Jenkins 2012 NFL Draft quick report

This year I wrote the player rankings and evaluations for the USA Today 2012 NFL Draft magazine. It's on newsstands now and available online here. Leading up to the draft, I'll be reprinting some of my quick reports here.

A.J. Jenkins, Illinois
Height: 6'0, Weight: 190 pounds

Strengths: Jenkins has decent hands and has shown he knows the intricacies of route running. Excels at finding and picking apart the soft spot in zone coverage. Gets off the line nicely and doesn’t get jammed despite his size.

Weaknesses: There is nothing special about Jenkins' play, but he's solid across the board. Not especially fast, big, strong or athletic. Will body catch at times, which leads to drops.
