Harrison Smith, Notre Dame
Ht: 6'2, Wt: 215 pounds

Strengths: Has a nice build and is strong inside the box. Closes on the ball carrier in a hurry and is often a sure tackler. Gets into the backfield routinely. Reads the play well. Team leader. Highly productive. Finished his career with 309 tackles, 28 pass break ups and seven interceptions.

Weaknesses: Not the best when asked to drop back in coverage and doesn't have the athleticism to stick with receivers in man situations. Tries too often to go for the kill shot and will miss the tackle. May need to add some strength to play the run better.

Combine quotable: (On covering tight ends) That's something that I think I'm good at, and that I can bring to teams, is the ability to cover tight ends man-to-man. It's something I did throughout my career. In practice I got to go against Kyle Rudolph, who was a high draft pick last year. This past year I went against Tyler Eifert, and he'll be picked next year. So just being around good competition and going up against it every day in practice.
