The New York Jets have selected North Carolina defensive end Quinton Coples with the No. 16 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Coples, who was once considered a top ten prospect, showed inconsistent effort during his senior season, causing his draft stock to drop a bit in the last six months. But Rex Ryan is glad to have the athletically gifted Coples. He is versatile enough to play with his hand in the ground or stand up and rush the passer.

Check out our scouting report of Coples here.
