Cincinnati Bengals select Kevin Zeitler No. 27 in 2012 NFL Draft

The Bengals made a good pick with cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick at No. 17. But to trade out of 21 and let division rival Pittsburgh get David DeCastro was unwise. So the choice of a guard like Wisconsin's Kevin Zeitler may be a bit of a panic move. Zeitler is a great run-blocking guard who can get out on the move and play in the box.

Quick scouting notes: Does a nice job of keeping low in his stance out of the snap. Has fast, active hands to keep defenders out of his frame. Great help blocker. Zeitler is a good run blocker with power and comes from a top program.
