Fresh off their win in Miami in Game 2, the Pacers will host the Heat in Indianapolis on Thursday for Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series. The best-of-seven series is tied 1-1.
The Heat lost Game 2 at home despite 52 combined points from LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. It was the first game Miami played without Chris Bosh, who strained his abdomen in Game 1 and is expected to miss the rest of this series. Through seven playoff games this season, James leads the Heat in points, rebounds and assists. He's currently averaging 28.4 points per game, 7.9 rebounds per game and 5.4 assists per game during the postseason.
Indiana won Game 2 with strong defense and well-balanced scoring led by David West's 16 points. The Pacers were 23-10 at home during the regular series and went 2-1 at home in their opening round series against Orlando. Danny Granger is averaging just 9.0 points per game in this series, but leads the Pacers in scoring in the postseason at 17.9 points per game.
Thursday's Game 3 will tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET and be broadcast on ESPN.
