The Eastern Conference finals return to the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., where the Devils will look for their third straight win to finish off the Rangers and advance to the Stanley Cup final.
After being shut out twice in the first three games, the Devils have solved Henrik Lundqvist to put the Rangers on the brink of elimination. New Jersey scored four times in Game 4 and then broke through for five goals in a crucial Game 5 at Madison Square Garden. The Devils wasted an early three-goal lead, but regained control in the final period on a Ryan Carter score.
New York, meanwhile, enters a Game 6 on the road with the season on the line for the second time this postseason. The Rangers came back against the Senators in the first round to advance in seven, but they're now facing a streaking Devils team that has controlled the action for much of the series. Lundqvist will have to get back on track if New York hopes to force a Game 7.
