The Predators will look bring their semifinal series against the Phoenix Coyotes back to even on Friday night, building off the momentum of their Game 3 shutout win in Nashville. Vezina finalist Pekka Rinne stopped all 32 shots the Coyotes sent his way on Wednesday, keeping the Preds alive and avoiding a disastrous 0-3 hole.
The Coyotes' red-hot goaltender Mike Smith had a two-minute lapse in the first period of Game 3, when Nashville scored two quick goals that would seal it up. Smith will look to rebound in Game 3, but it's the Coyotes offense that will have to solve Rinne if the Coyotes want to take a commanding lead back to Arizona.
