The full eight teams have been determined for the 2012 College World Series in Omaha. The double-knockout tournament begins Friday at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. There will be two games on Friday and two games on Saturday to kick off the tournament.
On Friday, Stony Brook will play against No. 2 seed UCLA at 5:00 p.m. ET. In the nightcap, No. 3 Florida State will take on Arizona in a game that will begin at 9:00 p.m. ET.
On Saturday, Arkansas will play against Kent State at 5:00 p.m. ET, while the No. 1 national seed Florida Gators will take on the South Carolina Gamecocks at 9:00 p.m. ET.
The losers of the two Friday games will play one another at 5:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, while Friday's winners will be matched up at 9:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. Likewise, Saturday's losers will play against one another at 5:00 p.m. ET on Monday and Saturday's winners will face off at 9:00 p.m. ET.
Two losses in the tournament will result in a team being knocked out until the tournament is narrowed down to one team in each bracket. When only two teams remain, the College World Series will culminate in a best-of-three series for the national title.
