In all seriousness, Moore's weak arm was on display at Detroit Lions minicamp this week, and head coach Jim Schwartz didn't exactly defend the quarterback's arm strength.
"It’s well documented that he doesn’t have the strongest arm, he doesn’t have the prototypical size but once you get out on the field you don’t get extra points for being 6-foot-4, you get 7 points for moving the ball and getting it into the end zone, and that’s what he has done so far in camp,’’ Schwartz told the Oakland Press.
Teams may not get extra points for having a big quarterback with a strong arm, but it certainly helps. Moore's arm will severely limit his NFL potential, and the fact that his coach came out and discussed his weak arm isn't a good sign.
But like I said, this just reaffirms a position most of us already held. But does anybody out there believe in Moore's ability to become a starting quarterback?
