Pacquiao Vs. Bradley: Manny's Calf Stretch Delays Start Of Main Event

When the Jorge Arce vs. Jesus Rojas fight ended early on the Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley undercard, HBO appeared ready to go right into the Pacquiao vs. Bradley bout. After a brief tribute to recently paralyzed boxer Paul Williams and recently deceased Johnny Tapia, HBO suddenly said they were having to delay as the fighters weren't ready.

Then the drama kicked in...

Bradley appeared to be ready, but Manny was suddenly "not in his dressing room" and didn't have his gloves on yet. Normally it would be illegal for a fighter to leave the dressing room once his hands have been wrapped, so it's curious that he would be out of his dressing room at all.

It was the stated by Freddie Roach that Manny was "stretching his calves" on a treadmill and that this was a "totally planned" part of their warm-up before the fight, but the NBA game they were willing to wait to end didn't run as long as expected, so they simply weren't ready to go.

It's a very strange situation and yet again we have Pacquiao dealing with an unusual situation before one of his fights.

Word is the ring walks will start at roughly 11:45 p.m. ET.
