Aren't those orchestrated marriage proposals on national television adorable? No? Okay, maybe not so much. But when it looks like one's about to go down then a curveball is thrown, it does make for some good TV.
That's exactly what happened when boxer Adrien Broner dropped to a knee in front of his girlfriend on Saturday night, but he had a different question to ask.
Note the brush at the beginning of the video. This will be an important prop later.
He set it up pretty wonderfully. The whole spiel led towards a proposal. Bringing his girl out and hyping it all up made everyone think the question was coming.
And sure, the question did come. But it wasn't "will you marry me?" It was an important question, though!
The man just finished up his fight and his hair needed a little TLC. And what better way to do it than dropping to a knee and proposing that his girlfriend do the honors?
