AJ Allmendinger has reportedly been suspended indefinitely after his "B" sample tested positive. Allmendinger was temporarily suspended two hours before the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona earlier this month after a random drug test given by NASCAR tested positive for a banned stimulant. Unlike Jeremy Mayfield, the Penske Racing driver will have a chance to be reinstated. NASCAR notes in its press release that they will provide a letter to Allmendinger that will outline steps towards being reinstated. Once he does agree to the outline given in the letter, he will then participate in the Road to Recovery Program. Once he does that, he will be reinstated.
